Falling Rock Networks was born out of a consulting practice that aimed to help find and fix vulnerabilities in enterprises. After hundreds of assessments, dozens of which were against datacenters and hosting providers, we were dismayed to find there were no secure hosting options for our customers. Even when we alerted the hosting providers of their serious holes it often was met with little interest. Further, our customers were often frustrated by a lack of in-house know-how to find and fix issues themselves.
After contemplating options, we decided that no one was better suited than our team to start a small hosting and managed security services company. What started off as a one-off for a few customers has now turned into a full blown business for those who want secure options that aren't commercially available elsewhere in the sea of un-customizable and insecure commodity solutions that competitors offer. We took our lessons learned from years working in hosting and security, added our technology stack that we had developed for ourselves, and turned it into a best of breed managed services solution.
